White Cranberry

This product is unique and is highly sought after by our regular customers. There is only a very small window of opportunity for harvesting white cranberries, which is after they have ripened, but before they change colour. We closely monitor our cranberry fields, waiting for the perfect moment to harvest a limited quantity of the white berries that make this wine distinct. The result is a fantastic, light and delicately flavourful wine, which is loved by everyone.

White Cranberry won a Silver Medal at the 2006 Northwest Wine Summit, Best Wine in Show as The People's Choice Award at a major wine event over all other entries (and just to be clear, those were grape wines it was competing against), and it was decorated with a Silver Medal at the 2004 Northwest Wine Summit.

Fort Wine Co. White Cranberry was also chosen as BC Wine of the Week in December 2005 by the Vancouver Sun, and was chosen as one of the Top 3 Christmas Wines by the Province newspaper in December 2005.

We are primarily cranberry growers, and so we know this fruit well. This special cranberry wine is our flagship product and we are obviously very proud of it. The fresh and distinct tart flavours of the cranberry are sweetened to an approachable and delightful taste. The appealing scarlet colour reflects the wine's fruit - pure, robust and unmistakably cranberries. Perfect to serve with any festive meals, especially poultry and pork, it has the strength to compliment the heartiest fare. The wine is excellent on its own or with a splash of sparkling water.

A good blueberry wine is a challenge to produce but the end product is certainly worth the effort. And this one is clearly a stellar wine. It was awarded a Silver Medal at the 2004 Northwest Wine Summit.

This delicate and aromatic elixir is a true expression of the excellent quality blueberries which grow here in the Fraser Valley. Our wine is carefully blended from six varieties of local blueberries. We select only the best, premium grade berries for our wine. The varieties are chosen for their intensity of flavour and aromatic qualities. Our blueberry wine pairs well with any meal or light dessert.

This wine is a blend of 75% Okanagan peach and 25% apricot. The elegant, fruity and refined aromas are expressed in this off-dry white wine. Our Peach Apricot Wine was the big winner at the 2003 Canadian Wine Awards in the category of Best Dry/Off-Dry Varietal Tree Fruit Wine in Canada. It was also awarded a Bronze Medal at the 2006 Northwest Wine Summit and a Silver Medal at the 2003 Fruit Wines of Canada Awards and a Bronze at the 2004 Northwest Wine Summit.

By cool fermentation and aging in stainless steel, we are able to maintain the crisp and refreshing character of these fruits. Serve slightly chilled. It accompanies most poultry dishes and salads, and is perfect for a summer picnic.
