The
Fort Wine Co.'s Iced Apple Wine won Gold at the
2006 and 2005 All Canadian Wine Championships,
and Best Dessert Wine in Show at the 2004 Northwest
Wine Summit.
This
sweet and complex wine is made using a process called "cryo-extraction".
A careful blend of premium B.C. apples are chosen, juiced and
flash frozen. A slow thaw to extract the concentrated essence
and flavourful juice of the apples creates maximum intensity and
fruit benefit.
